FP-5
The Violation
The Principle

Organizations accumulate excessive or overlapping marketing tools without clear ownership, integration, or measurable value.

The call

An unmanaged tech stack accumulates tools nobody fully uses, costs nobody fully tracks, and creates integrations nobody fully understands. Intentional tooling means every platform has a defined owner, purpose, and measured ROI.

The Legends

In Action (the tape)

• Overlapping platforms

• Tech stack not mapped or outlined

• No clear tool-to-team-to-owner matching

• Tools not mapped to budgets

Owned — Overlapping CMS, email, CRM tools.

Earned — Social tools underused.

Paid — Redundant ad tech.

Analytics — Multiple analytics platforms with overlap.

AI — Too many AI tools, no mastery.

The Corrective Play
rule-21

• Audit tools annually
